Kaden Honeycutt is 21 years old and from Aledo, Texas, though he now lives in North Carolina as he pursues his dream of reaching the premier NASCAR Cup Series. Honeycutt started racing in 2012 in the Bandolero division, compiling multiple wins throughout Alabama and Texas. In 2016, he moved into the INEX Legend Car Young Lions division, where he visited victory lane multiple times. In 2017, he advanced to the INEX Legend Car Pro division, winning the Las Vegas Bullring Showdown. The 2017 season also saw Honeycutt compete in Pro Trucks, including the 2017 Pro Truck portion of Snowball Derby week at historic Five Flags Speedway. In 2018 and 2019, Honeycutt ran select races in the ARCA Menards Series as well as super late models and IMCA dirt modifieds. More recently, he has transitioned into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where he will contest a full season in 2025 with team owner Al Niece and Niece Motorsports in the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado RST.
Honeycutt’s biggest career highlight to date came on Dec. 8, 2024, when he took home the Tom Dawson Trophy and a $50,000 payday by winning the 57th annual Snowball Derby, besting veterans Stephen Nasse and Ty Majeski in the most prestigious super late model race in the United States.
